Greetings from the East.
I hope this note finds you well. We are rolling towards the end of the year at what seems like an ever quickening pace. Monday will be our last meeting without addressing the placement of officers for next year. It seems odd that I am approaching my end in the East after only three more meetings.
This Monday we have a very special guest in MWB Gene Cobb, who will be giving a presentation on Bro. William Richardson Davie, a patriot and Mason prominent in the shaping of North Carolina as it moved through history. If you can find a way to make this meeting, please do. I would like to see a good turn out for our MWB, and hope to not have to pro-tem any of the chairs.
In fact, these next three meetings are of great importance to our lodge, and we would all benefit from as much participation as possible. Again, if you can find a way to make these meetings, please do. We are in need of brotherhood participation in the most serious of ways.
Monday's meeting will be an emergent, with dinner at 6, and lodge opening at 7.
Please give as much attention to the lodge as you can to help us finish the year strong.
